A study tour to Switzerland was organized by the Global Eco-industrial Parks Program (GEIPP) from 5-12 June 2022. Seven participants from Egypt took part in the study tour. The objective of the study tour was to demonstrate EIP approaches and practices in advanced regulatory and technological settings. It consisted of lectures and field visits in best international EIP practices, approaches and technologies for showcasing industrial synergies and EIP practices. Participants included representatives from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, from Egypt Cleaner Production Center, the Industrial Development Agency , Robbibi Leather Cluster, Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) and Suez Industrial Development Company (SIDC).
