GEIPP-Egypt empowering sustainable investments through advanced analysis tools
The Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme (GEIPP-Egypt) organized a training workshop on #ProjectAnalysis and #FeasibilityAssessment using the Computer Model for Feasibility Analysis and Reporting (COMFAR) software from 5–8 January 2025 in Cairo, Egypt.
Dr. Umesh Menon, a UNIDO expert in sustainable investment and finance, conducted the workshop, bringing in extensive experience in training and capacity-building for project formulation and appraisal. The participants included government officials from various ministries—industry, investment, and environment—as well as representatives from industrial parks’ management, tenant companies, and national consultants specialising in sustainability and financing.
Participants were trained to effectively conduct comprehensive #Financial and #Economic analyses, simulate various project scenarios, and generate detailed reports. These skills are essential to support informed decision-making and promote #SustainableInvestments in #EcoIindustrialParks and beyond.
This workshop provided participants with a unique opportunity to engage with UNIDO’s cutting-edge methodologies and tools, fostering their ability to drive sustainable industrial development through innovative and impactful solutions.
