Project Steering Committee – 4th Meeting

The Global Eco-industrial Parks Programme (GEIPP) – Egypt project will hold its 4th steering committee meeting on 13 December, 2023. The project team will present to the members the project’s progress from June to December 2023 and the workplan for from January 2024 to June 2024. This will give the members the opportunity to share their insights and strategic direction to the project.

The project steering committee is chaired by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and co-chaired by the Embassy of Switzerland in Egypt. The meeting will include the following keynotes:

• Mr. Amr Hazzaa, Advisor to the Minister and Head of Developmental Projects Unit – Ministry of Trade and Industry, Egypt
• Ms. Michal Harari, Deputy Head of International Cooperation – Embassy of Switzerland in Egypt
• Mr. Patrick Jean Gilabert, Representative – Regional Office Hub in Egypt, UNIDO

The meeting will also include, an Overview of Project Progress, achieved impacts at the Industrial Parks and Project Workplan to be presented by Ms. Shahenaz Fouad, National Project Coordinator, UNIDO and Mr. Alessandro Flammini, Technical Lead and Project Coordinator.

Mr. Rana Singh, Project Manager, UNIDO will be making the closing remarks.
